ABOUT ME
JOCK MACDONALD
I am an actor, writer, director, and coach (acting, writing, and directing) with over 50 years of professional experience in the US, Canada, and Europe.

I have had guest-starring roles in many prime-time and daytime television shows, both in sitcoms and dramas. I have had over ten major roles in films, major release studio motion pictures, and independent films. My theatre credits include the lead role in an award winning Off-Broadway play and leading roles in regional theaters across the US.

In addition to my acting, directing, and writing work, I have always coached and taught actors, writers, and directors. Whether starting workshops when working at a regional theatre, ongoing professional workshops, or contracting to teach classes at Universities, I have always felt the responsibility to give back what I have learned.
I have a BA in theatre from the University of Vermont and an MFA in acting from Ohio University. In addition, I have a diploma in television acting from the Wiest-Barron School of Television and a diploma in Shakespeare and comedy acting from BADA, Balliol College, Oxford University.
EMPOWERING CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS
My coaching has resulted in many of my clients having successful careers in film, television, and theater. I currently have clients in recurring roles in televised series, screenwriting for an upcoming major film production, and in pre-production for directing a major television series and I am always available to help, encourage and empower my clients
